1. A printout of your Social Security benefit

To find the printout of your Social Security benefit, please go to the link: www.ssa.gov. Under the top picture, there are four boxes to choose from — select the Retirement Estimator box. Page 2, find the link in the blue box halfway down the page "Estimate your retirement benefit." Page 3 verification page and then estimation page. Close the website completely after the first search and reopen the site for search #2. Print out the results.
